ABOUT US

OMNI Reboot is the intersection of science, technology, art, culture, design, and metaphysics. It is an experience, as well as an environment for the informed and the information seeker. On our quest for truth, we speculate about tomorrow, uncover hidden realities, and live to make our readers dream and wonder. We’re a free-rolling resource in a terrifying, wonderful, metamorphosing world. We aim to teach and we hope to learn. We don't draw lines between disciplines; we revel in simultaneity. We understand that art is a form of inquiry. We ask the wrong questions as well as the right ones. We don't put science on a pedestal; instead, we drag it down into the city, onto the screen, and into the stream of everyday life. We’ll question your most deeply-held conceptions of what technology does. We’ll ask what the future can do for you. We encourage you to test ideas in the laboratory of your own nervous system.
OMNI Reboot is accepting submissions for fiction, non-fiction, and everything in between. If you have questions, submissions, or tips for the editors, don't hesitate to make contact.

Non-Fiction Guidelines:

OMNI Reboot is always looking for smart pieces of writing about the future. These may include, but are not limited to: pop-cultural criticism of a science-fiction or technological bent, essays about science and technology for a general readership, interviews with interesting figures in science, technology, science fiction, and related fields, timely reviews of relevant film, literature, and television, well-researched thought experiments, and more unclassifiable inquiry about the nature of the modern world.

To be considered for nonfiction publication on OMNI Reboot, please send your submission and anything else you might feel is relevant to: info@omnireboot.com with OMNI Reboot Non-Fiction in the subject line. We will follow up on ideas we find interesting within two (2) business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Please do not send us reprints. Attach your story, formatted in a clear and reasonable manner, as either an .RTF or .DOC file. Please do not paste the story into the body of an email.

Word Count: 500 word minimum to a 1,500 word maximum

Fiction Guidelines:

OMNI Reboot accepts fiction submissions. We are interested in experimental, innovative, and compelling fiction from both emerging and established writers. Please keep in mind that OMNI Reboot is a magazine about the future, and thus we’re not interested in nostalgia, sexism, racism, or hackneyed science fiction tropes. Stories must be well-written and easy to read on a screen—please consider the medium.
